ABSTRACT
This study examined the treasury single account and the performance of the selected MDAS Osun State. The primary source of data was used and questionnaires administered to selected ministries department and agencies in osun state. The data were analyzed using simple percentage and correlation and regression analysis were used to test the hypothesis and base on the findings the Treasury single account has a positive and significant impact on performance at 5% level of significant we accept the alternative hypothesis which stated and reject null hypothesis and hypothesis two Treasury single account has a positive and significant relationship on performance at 5% level of significant. Therefore, we recommend that Government should enforce the adoption of TSA and make it mandatory for all the MDAs and parastatals to adhere to since its adoption has significantly improved the performance of federal government ministries, departments and agencies in Nigeria and there is also a need for the TSA legislation to cover the states and local government level since the policy in question only covered the federal level.
